Hello all! How's everything? I got busy with my work, I know, sobrang guilty ako sa pagpapabaya ko sa blog ni CHICO LANETE -- I know, marami ang followers ng blog na to, thanks sa Jamships, at sa iba ko pang friends na patuloy na sumisilip-silip dito. :) I got so busy with work hindi na tuloy ako nakakapunta sa praktis ng Barangay Ginebra Kings. Kaya nung isang araw lang, alam kong me praktis, Helen -- friend kong GOLiner, informed me thru YM. E ang problema naman, I have Rest Day OT sa araw na yun til 10:30am. Argh! Problemang malaki, dahil 6am ng araw na yun, naisip ko talagang magpunta. I called AM Abitria para sabihan sya na pupunta kami. Hindi sumasagot ang bruha! Waaahh! Panu na to. Ayan na, nakakaramdam na ako ng stress -- kelangan kong makapunta! Malulungkot ako kapag hindi. MISS NA MISS KO NA SILA! People, are you not getting it?! Miss na miss ko na sila! April 15 ang huli kong kita sa team sa praktis, y'know! Pero mahal ata talaga ako ng Langit. Sa kagustuhan kong makapunta, talagang natagpuan ko na lang ang sarili kong nakasakay sa cab going to Green Meadows.. hihi! At si manong driver, kabarangay din pala. :) Pagdating ko sa praktis, kinakabahan ako, excited at masayang-masaya, hindi ko lang maexplain ng sobra. Haha! :) Andaming sasakyan sa labas ng gym, so alam kong, umabot ako -- yehey!

I saw my GOL friends -- Helen and Luie, mga mare, thank you! :) -- and i joined them. Naabutan ko pa ang team na naglalaro. Andami nila! Kakapanibago. Parang kelan lang, we're infested with injuries. Ngayon, andami na nating players. Kakatuwa. Andaming players, andami nila. Ansarap sana kumuha ng kumuha ng pictures. Pero eto at lowbat ako. Waaahh! Loser diba? I just content myself of saving my phone's battery to taking a solo picture of CHICO LANETE and Cyrus Baguio -- noon ko lang sya nakita sa praktis. I took some pictures of the team though. And I shall be posting the pictures, soon. So please bear with me. :)

Sa kasamaang palad, hindi ko na nakita si Chris Pacana, biglang nawala after ng praktis. Kainis. Pero inabangan ko ng bonggang-bongga ang ating poging kabarangay -- CHICO LANETE. As usual, maaga syang umaalis sa praktis, I mean, right after ng praktis, naghahanda sya kagad sa pag-alis. Inabangan ko sya at hiningan ng pabor. I took out a piece of junk, no, it was a piece of paper, I wrote some on it for him to fill out. Thank you Chico! Sobrang nice mo talaga!

Barangay Ginebra spoils Coca Cola

Led with as much as 42 points, Kings started strong, ended with too much of a composure as they rallied to spoil Tigers in their May 20 game held at the Big Dome.

Ronald Tubid, is once again, the Kings' dependable hero as he led with 20 points while David Noel shared 18 points & 18 rebounds.

Kings is now a win away from getting that outright Semifinals berth.

Our very own Chico Lanete once again proved his worth as he displayed great defense and good ball-handling skills, contributing 13 points for the team.

Muli, prayers mga kabarangay! It works. We've proven that, many times over.

Cancelled Ginebra-Alaska game, will be played this May 22nd

Just got an alert from Google.. this is regarding last Saturday's game -- twas between our very own Kings vs Aces -- that has been cancelled. The game will be played on Friday, May 22 at the Araneta Coliseum, and it will be played from the start. Violent reactions, guys? Well, ganun talaga. Di bale, mananalo at mananalo pa rin naman ang Ginebra kahit ilang beses pa ulitin yung game e. Lol. The Kings-Aces duel will be the main game of May 22's doubleheader that will also feature San Miguel Beer vs Coca Cola game.

Ian, call ticketnet now! Magsisiluwas ang mga Uragon, bitin sila sa game e! Wahahaha!

Bon Voyage GinKings!

Hayeee!! Musta mga kabarangay! Tagal kong nawala, busy.. sa kung anu-ano.. anyway, usapang barangay, we're at 3rd spot now! Barangay Ginebra Kings is at 3rd spot now! Whoa! Lemme repeat that.. Whoa! Hahaha! Kasi naman, from 1-5 standing, we're at 7-5 now! Amazing, amazing! Our team by the way is in Legazpi na by this time. Flight nila kanina 9am. Huhu, tagal ko na di nakakapunta ng practice, dami ko nang utang na pictures sa inyo.. promise, babawi ako. :)

BGK is Simply Unstoppable

BGK is undeniably, unstoppable, won their 6th straight wins! Last night, they battled with Purefoods TJ Giants minus Mark "The Spark" Caguioa -- who is still in the US, & Junthy "The Hitman" Valenzuela -- who is set to be back in action in 2 weeks time, is still nursing a scar in his left knee. With 12 deadlocks & 13 lead changes, anyone would say, it is anybody's ballgame. But Ginebra showed they are the true champions, emerged as the sole winner among the other 2 SMC teams who rallied last night -- San Miguel Beermen (suffered from Burger Kings Whoppers) & Purefoods TJ Giants.

13,668 fans showed their undying support to their respective teams, cheered & jeered the whole night.

David Noel, who was declared the Best Player of the Game, again, brought the house down with game high 30 points, 11 rebounds, 7 assists & led the Barangay Ginebra Kings to winning the game. Jayjay Anthony Helterbrand patiently added 20 points (a sum of which came from the charities). Other contributors were Erik Menk - 14 points. Billy Mamaril Jr. - 12 points. Ronald Tubid & Cyrus Baguio gave 11 points apiece. Whereas JC Intal, Chico Lanete, Rafi Reavis & Paul Artadi poured a couple of jumpers & displayed great hustle & D.

101-98 What a performance from our very own reinforcement David Noel who earned for himself the Best Player of the Game award. Kudos to the players who showed exceptional talents & skills - Chico Lanete, Jayjay Helterbrand, Ronald Tubid, Erik Menk, Billy Mamaril, JC Intal, to name a few.

The team is second best (SMB is with 8 winning streak) in terms of winning streak at 5. Will battle with Purefoods tomorrow. Good luck good luck!

Meanwhile, courtside reporter Patricia Bermudez-Hizon mentioned last night that Mark "The Spark" Caguioa is set to undergo his final knee test today. If everything goes okay, then he will be joining with the rest of the GinKings early next week. Juicy news for everyone!

On other news, Chris Pacana, Sunday Salvacion, Doug Kramer were not seen in action last night. Junthy Valenzuela is set to complete his vacation (due to the scar in his left knee) in two-weeks time.

Barangay Ginebra Kings vs Burger King Whoppers

Hello all! Kakapanuod lang namin nung Friday, eto na naman, watch na naman kami kagabi.. namiss namin kagad ang team e. And sa pinakita ng importless BGK last Friday opposite Rain or Shine, hindi ata namin kayang mamiss ang mga magiging kaganapan sa next games.. :)

So there, I fetched Phenggay in Paco, then we went to Metropoint to meet up with Chum. There we waited at KFC for AM. We then ate our late tanghalian. Panther + boypz came & off we go to the Astrodome. Yippee!

Aga namin sa loob, at nasolo ng bongga ang team. I was the one who first entered. I saw William Joel Wilson saw us. "Hello Will!" nag smile sya kagad. For a guy with broad shoulders, malaking kaha na tulad nya, parang hindi bagay yung mag mukhang soft pag nag smile nuh? Sabi nga ni AM, nakakatunaw. Lols. Then I noticed Chico at the corner of my eyesight. "Hi Chico!" :) & he returned by smiling dearly.

Picture taking followed shortly. Nayaya pa namin magsama yung dalawang BGK idols sa isang pic. Nakakatuwa lang talaga.


Then, syempre, magandang chance na rin yun para kuhanan sila kasama ang mga kasama ko sa Jamships.

BGK Game vs BK 04/20/2009

We watched BGK's game a few hours back - opposite Burger Kings Whopppers. We arrived early, as always, & lucky to get to have the chance of taking pictures of our dear Barangay Ginebra Kings idols. This was the very first picture I took. I did not notice Chico when we entered the astrodome. Instead, I shouted.. "Hello Wilson!!!" :p hihi.. & then there I saw Wilson flashes a killer smile. & at the corner of my eyesight, I saw Chico looking toward our direction. "Hi Chico!!!" & he returned by smiling dearly.

I'm not supposed to post anything yet, as I need to create something more formal regarding the game. Kill me, I'm dying with excitement. I want to post Chico Lanete's pictures. Okay, just one.
